Activity description
The goal
The 'Olympic Chain Reaction' activity was designed to engage the Braun teams in a fun and meaningful way. Teams were placed in a simulation that challenged them to transport the Olympic flame from Athens to Paris without losing any energy.
It required teams to build a series of interconnected constructions that facilitated the flame's journey through various cities, emphasising sustainability and resourcefulness.

Creative & collaborative construction
Participants used a combination of craft materials to construct their pathways. Each team represented a European capital and was responsible for ensuring the smooth transfer of the Olympic flame to the next city through a chain reaction.
The activity required innovative solutions and effective teamwork, with teams needing to communicate clearly and coordinate their efforts.
Cross-border agreements
A crucial aspect of the activity was the need for cooperation. Teams had to negotiate and make agreements with neighbouring cities to ensure the seamless transfer of the flame.
This aspect of the game underscored the importance of collaboration and strategic planning, demonstrating that successful outcomes depend on working together efficiently and sustainably.
